We have received a tentative repair completion of 13th October 2017 however these dates tend to change over time due to the nature of .

Cable Ship Asean explorer has identified a third shunt fault and have began their repairs with a tentative repair completion on 2nd of October 2017. Dear Customer,

Sea-Me-We 3 submarine cable between Perth and Singapore is still down.

Cable Ship Asean explorer have completed repairs on the third shunt fault, however we believe that they are detecting a new issue.

Please be aware that the estimate date of repair of October 2 nd is a miscommunication from our provider.

We are currently chasing our provider for a revised estimated date of repair.

Vocus apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Cable Ship Asean Explorer has departed Tanjung Priok Anchorage and on passage to Merak port for inwards clearance. The tentative repair window is scheduled from 12-Oct to 16-Oct.

Cable ship is expected to arrive at cable ground on 12th October 17 and to complete the repair by 16th October 17.

Tentative ETR is 16th October now.

Please be advised we have received an update from our provider regarding the repair of the Sea-Me-We 3 submarine cable between Perth and Singapore.

Cable ship has completed the 1st Joint and has been making the final joint.

SM3 cable cut is due for repair in the next 48 hours.
